"The caravan itself was ok We were originally told by the neighbours resident dog carer that the grass between the two caravans belonged to their caravan, so we didn't use it for the first couple of days Boiler kept losing pressure and the first night the children had to have a cold shower until we got someone to come and sort it but we then had to redo it several times over the week. We had problems with the TV and the first engineer couldn't get it to work but we eventually got it working. Thick layers of dust over the mirror in the en-suite bedroom. It might be wise to give detailed instructions on anything like the above. Shower in en-suite difficult to turn on and off. Stains in both bathrooms. The cleaning was below standard with marked carpets and dirt left under the cushions in the lounge Suspect item on the kitchen floor it looked like rat poo Cobwebs over the curtains in the lounge looked months old Glass cupboard was filthy and the glasses looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months so we cleaned the ones before we used them The freezer was iced up and this made it very difficult to fit stuff in The bottom freezer drawer was broken The veranda wasn't swept and dusted down for cobwebs and spiders The outdoor pool needs urgent maintenance as my grandson cut his toe on a broken tile. Basically it is falling apart but it was warm enough to swim. We have stayed on this site before with no issues, so it may be that we won't rent this particular caravan again."

"Difficult communicating with host, miss leading information on key details We had a problem which was sorted out the same day by the management team which was excellent. I am very sorry about not leaving recycle materials in the poly bags. I did not read the leaving page of the brochure until the Friday."

"The location of the hotel was great and the staff were excellent. Particularly Michelle on reception who helped us move rooms when we had an issue with ours. She was great and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and comfortable. "

"July 2024. What a lovely property. Very very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and well equiped and the view from that huge window! Wow. Communication - Had a small problem with the freezer when we arrived at 7.30pm, phoned the given number and someone was with us within half an hour. Great service. Area - communal picnik table and grass area, 5 min walk to Porth beach, the first of many in the area, 40min walk to Newquay Town. Coastal path right outside taking you in both directions around a stunning coastline with lots of bays with smugglers caves and lots of coffee /lunch stops. Hiring of beach/surf equipment on Newquay beach is very reasonably priced and would wholeheartedly recommend doing coasteering with'Barefoot coasteering' Only downside was the seagulls roost on the flat roofs at night and they don't seem to go to sleep!"
