JetStar Airbus A320 VH-VGZ operating JQ846 Sydney – Hamilton Island diverted to Mackay today due to weather at Hamilton Island. The aircraft then positioned Mackay – Sydney as JQ7983. The return JQ849 Hamilton Island – Sydney was cancelled.

JetStar had two Airbus A320s return from maintenance at Seletar today, with both positioning direct to Melbourne. VH-VQW, which went to Seletar on 12th June, operated as JQ7991 and VH-VGZ, which went to Seletar on 3rd June, operated as JQ7993.
