"The property maybe a little tired but the service and price are amazing! We opted for the breakfast, which a lovely guy cooked..and could not do anymore for us. Didn't get his name but was outstanding...obviously a perfectionist, whilst running the reception too! When we checked in there was a really lovely lady who was incredibly helpful. Whilst in the bar was another lady who so so bubbly and like a whirlwind...such a personality. So handy to get into Cardiff. We were actually there for the Billy Joel concert and was so easy to get to the Principality Stadium. Would i stay there again? Absolutely...and i would recommend to my friends who are after a bed, bar and breakfast with a lovely team of staff. "

"A friend and I stayed for one night as we were attending a concert at the Prinicipality Stadium. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent and so was the breakfast. We were helped to book a taxi to get us to and from the stadium. The whole trip was stress free. C an't recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Lovely flat, lovely view over the bay and the sea. Everything you need in the flat to make your stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable but missing slats which meant if you sat on it wrong would fall through. Comfy sofa bed with linen. I would recommend and would stay here again. Owners on hand if you need help. Thank you for a lovely stay xxx "

"We had a double room on the second floor booke for 2 nights. Ensuite, double bed, TV clean. There were no wardrobes but an alcove with two coat hangers. Staff very friendly and offered to carry bags up stairs. I said we could do with a few more hangers, and within minutes she was at the door with more. I asked if we could have a couple of chairs and within minutes they were provided, Tea and coffee provided but no kitchen facilities. We were told they nearly never survived Covid and justgetting back on their feet. Welcome to purchase food several takeaways local and bar staff provide clean crockery and eating utensils. They even opened up the lounge for us so we hade somewhere quiet to eat. Bar staff friendly, prices reasonable, £4 a pint. We were made to feel welcome and at home, they waved us goodbye. It is budget but warm clean friendly, locals too. We would stay a gain good value."

"We only stayed for one night. But we could not have asked for anything better. The staff,the beer,breakfast and everything else was great. Would definitely recommend the Three Horseshoes.Will be my first port of call if we are staying in the area again. "

"The history of the building is fascinating. A 17th C building made from stones of the nearby ruins, Penmark Castle. Terrific hosts and kind folks at the pub next door."

"Overall, very nice. Tv should have been in the bedroom and not the kitchen. No oven either. Bed was a small doubke and quite uncomfortable, you get what you pay for. Good location. "

"The bungalow was fantastic, very welcoming and clean. The general decor was beautiful. My only problem was there was too much light in the bedroom. The blinds and curtains didn’t blackout the room. I don’t sleep when the room is too light. But it wouldn’t stop us booking here again. The house and our stay was truly lovely. "
