Airbus A320 VH-VGN departed Toulouse on delivery to Newcastle today as JQ7992 routing Toulouse - Dubai - Singapore - Darwin - Newcastle.

JetStar A320 VH-JQX Mackay Incident.

Airbus A320 VH-JQX operating flight JQ884 Brisbane - Mackay was descending towards Mackay when multiple error messages showed in the cockpit, the autopilot and auto-thrust systems disconnected and primary system light displays including altitude and airspeed were lost. The crew used back-up systems to perform a safe landing. The return flight was cancelled.

JetStar Airbus A330-200 VH-EBD operating flight JQ37 Sydney - Denpasar diverted into Darwin this evening due to a medical emergency on board.

JetStar New Zealand Service Increases.

JetStar today announced an increase in services in New Zealand from 10th February 2011.

Auckland - Christchurch increases from 5 to 7 services daily.

Auckland - Wellington increases from 24 to 31 weekly.

Christchurch - Wellington increases from 1 to 2 daily.
